WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT OUR NOVEMBER 07 HOLIDAY

****Some wonderful memories, I would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend
Reviewed on the Responsible Travel website 28 Nov 2007 by Nuala Bermingham

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The group were all good company and we had lots of laughs. The packed lunches were delicious particularly after a long walk. The great sense of achievement on the last day after a challenging walk with spectacular views and beauty.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Comfortable boots and clothing.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We stayed in a local house in Torrox village. We ate in local restaurants. Had our hair done on the last day in the local hairdressers. All our food was local and in season. I felt welcome in the village.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
This holiday was all I expected and a lot more

Winter walking Nov 07

Maureen in the mountains
"I wanted to thank you so much again for letting me have an extended stay at Paz.  The holiday this time proved the perfect recipe, as having only 3 organised guided walks; I was able to pack so much more in.

I think it was the most stress free holiday I have ever had and I came home extremely relaxed.  Everything seemed to go so smoothly from the flight out to the flight back.  The food was suberb from beginning to end.  The meal with Gill and Dave is always a highlight, plus of course Maria's.  We also had 2 nights at El Figon which was great too.  I was so lucky with the weather and spent as much time as I could on the upper terrace at Paz.

Last but not least the last day I walked the dogs with Gill and we went 'scrumping' in an avocado orchard where I eat 2 ripe wind fall avocados, an orange from a tree and found a ripe wind fall mango which I eat as soon as I got back to Paz.  So it proved a very healthy walk!" "Delighted with the accommodation and position in village. Felt we were part of Spain rather than just tourists in guest accommodation."

"Gill & Dave were excellent (take a bow). The walking group had a nice bond, as this was our first experience we will definitely repeat it. Nice & easy going - nothing regimental. We had a great time."
