WHAT THEY SAID - APRIL 2008 HOLIDAY

"Gill & Dave are great hosts. Their genuine warmth and true hospitality ensured that a good time was had by all! This is our second WA holiday and it's proved to be every bit as good as the first!"

Alan & Aleri Brown

"I thought Dave & Gill were fantastic hosts - knowledgeable, funny, friendly and really welcoming. They made the holiday. The walks were also exccellent and we saw some lovely scenery. There was a very convivial atmosphere - altogether a very pleasurable experience. Thanks!."

Debbie King

"I thought Gill & Dave were very accommodating, friendly, out of their way helpful - seemed to go above and beyond. I enjoyed meeting new people and learning English terms. First time in Spain, so it was great to enjoy the more authentic version vs tourist areas - enjoyed meeting the locals ".

Brianne Barker

"It was a new experience for me. Dave & Gill are wonderful hosts and the personal, caring touch made this holiday unique."

Julie French

"Good company, lovely scenery, fresh air - you are both excellent hosts and have a real talent for it. "

Nicky McKechnie

"Like many, my first try at going on a walking holiday on my own. I had long wanted to visit this region of Spain. I enjoyed the combination of being 'cared for', challenged by the walking, lovely area and people on the holiday. Thank you so much!"

Janet Evans

"I loved the town, quaint historic, the views... You instilled trust from the outset by your professional yet friendly approach 10/10. You should be proud of what you have built up - excellent."

Hugh Reilly

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
It would be hard to say - everything was great. Particularly memorable are the smells of wild flowers, herbs and pine trees during our walks.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Don't hesitate to book - you will have a great time! It's a great holiday for single people, it's a great way to meet people and you get the chance to chat to everyone while you walk. The group eats evening meals together, so you won't be on your own.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, we ate in local restaurants and used local shops and markets. We had to drive to the start of some of the walks, but then our days were spent outdoors.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The holiday was excellent. Everything was well organised, our guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and the accommodation was extremely comfortable.

Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

**** Some wonderful memories, I would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend
