The Walks - Sample Itinerary

The walks all start from different parts of the Axarquia -
the name given to the region to the east of Malaga. All the
walks start within one hour's drive of the village of
Torrox. Transport is by 4 X 4 vehicle or car from Torrox
Pueblo. The walks are up to 5 - 6 hours duration at a
pace that reflects the relaxed life-style in Andalucia.

The aim of the programme is to provide the walker with a
good range of terrain and scenery with spectacular views of
mountains, sea and white villages. As the region is hilly
and dominated by two ranges of mountains - the Sierra
Tejeda and Sierra Almijara, there will be some
rugged surfaces and uphill climbs, so and walking boots and sticks are recommended.

As we always have two guides, each walk can be tailor-made to
cater for all levels of walking ability. Our flexibility
ensures that everyone gets the most enjoyment out of the
experience.

are based in Torrox, an historic Moorish village just four
kilometres from the coast.

WHAT THE PRICE INCLUDES
ACCOMMODATION
Guests stay in traditional village houses, which have
been both sympathetically restored and furnished with all
modern conveniences and most have their own shower/wc,
satellite TV, washing machine, fridge freezer. All linen is
provided and all the houses have beautiful terraces with
views over the village, the surrounding countryside or the
sea.

FOOD
A breakfast welcome pack is placed in all the houses
(breakfast to be taken on a self-catering basis). Otherwise lunches are provided on walks days and all evening meals are provided at a selection of hand picked restaurants, including wine and soft drinks.
TRANSPORT
All necessary transport during the trip is included.
Airport transfers are at specified times.
ENTRANCE FEES
Included wherever it is part of the itinerary.
STAFF
On all our guided walks tours we provide 2 guides, assisted by local guides, drivers and any other staff as appropriate
