THINK Easter, and chocolate eggs and bunnies are likely to spring to mind. But when we were offered a walking holiday in Andalucia with the opportunity for cultural visits as well, we jumped at the chance. The region of Andalucia is known for its historic Semana Santa celebrations. Vibrant parades, music and feasting seem to bombard the senses at every turn. |

We had never been on a walking holiday before and we thoroughly enjoyed the programme and would not have changed anything. What we enjoyed most was the contrast between a walking day and a city visit day and the feeling that if you did want to change things you could. In other words – variety, interest and flexibility and the feeling that the whole week was tailored to our specific needs. As this was our first visit to Spain, we loved the visits to Malaga, Ronda and to the Alhambra in Granada.

We were consulted on every aspect of our holiday. The variety of activities both in terms of types of walks and the alternation with city visits was exactly what we wanted.
The visit to the gorgeous village of Acebuchal was a special favourite. |

We won' forget the breaktaking scenery with panoramic views over high mountains, lovely valleys and the sea.
We stayed in a beautifully restored old village house and the accommodation was comfortable, airy and spacious.
And we really enjoyed the opportunity to sample the gastronomy of the area with lovely meals in local restaurants, beautifully prepared and cooked with local produce. |

We would definitely come again and we will be recommending Walk Andalucia to our friends.
Gracias & Adios!
