"We enjoyed being well looked after, removing any worries about things going wrong. Especially enjoyed climbing the peak and food at Dave & Gill's." Beryl

"Excellent meals, especially the lunch at Maria', lunch at Finca la Paz and the vegetarian feast. Good idea to do own breakfast and be provided with our delicious lunches. We loved being in a village and the different houses. Atmosphere was relaxed. Plenty of time to get ready for meals and start of walks. Exccellent organisation made this holiday trouble-free."

Winchester Ramblers, March 2010

The programme of walks was very good.  I appreciated the fact that you tailored the walks to suit our varied abilities, and that you fitted in alternatives when possible. Catering was excellent, enjoyed the picnic lunches and all of the evening meals which although simple cuisine were of a high standard.  The vegetarian meal at Gill & Dave’s was wonderful – they are such good hosts and made us feel very welcome.  Sunday lunch at Maria’s was also most enjoyable.  I think I must have put on a few kilos over the holiday in spite of the exercise! I enjoyed most about my holiday the fact nothing was rushed but the time was very well utilised and there was always something to do."
Phil Waterton, Winchester Ramblers

"The meals were excellent ... I never thought I would get wine up a mountain! We enjoyed most the beautiful countryside, the gret walking and the very pleasant and knowledgeable hosts who couldn't have been moer friendly."
John Foey and John Newham, Winchester Ramblers

"We enjoyed the meals, the very friendly team, the excellent programme of wlks and the availability of a choice of walking groups."
Joanne & Geoff Morgan, Winchester Ramblers

"Excellent organisation and care and consideration given by the whole team. Excellent value for money."

"I enjoyed all locations, the walking, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and their team, the accommodation, the food, Torrox Pueblo, John's stick bending on a river crossing but especially the first two and the dogs. Nothing is too much trouble and the caring attitude."
Geraldine Buchanan, Winchester Ramblers

Would you please endorse our thanks to Gill and Dave Armstead for a very successful week of walking/touring activities in Andalucia.  The walks selected were moderate and suited the ability of most of our group of 30.  The wild flowers were at their best and we were most impressed with what we saw.

The tours of Cordoba and Frigiliana again were excellent, with the guide that was hired for the Mesquita being outstanding, thus making it the highpoint of the week.

The transport arrangements went without a hitch and the packed lunches were very good, especially the homemade banana cake.  Congratulations to Gill, Dave and their friendly colleague, Callum.
