Eating out in Torrox Pueblo

We offer delicious tasty local food in delightful environments

The meals were superb ... The picnics were fantastic!" Joyce Stevenson, Oct 2011

The food on  your Walk Andalucia holiday is fantastic and our guests tell us that this is one of the highlights of their holiday with us.

The Plaza de la Constitucion - in the centre of Torrox is perfect for al fresco eating with lots of tables and chairs and cafes and bars.

"We really enjoyed the meals.  'The variety of food available meant that everyone could find something they liked." Frank & Kate Whitten, March 2011

"Great food and venues." Jenny Oakley, March 2011

"Meals excellent - impossible to improve.  I especially love the vegetarian evening and the provision of salad on the walks" Collette Connell, March 2011

Vegetarians and Special Diets are always catered for.

"Wonderful food!! Perfect!  The fruit & veg were a delight".
Diane Montgomery, March 2011

A highlight of the Walk Andalucia experience is the vegetarian banquet provided by Corinne (sample menu) at your hosts' finca in the hills above Torrox.

Andalucian lunch at Maria's cortijo in the beautiful hills overlooking the Mediterranean sea is a memorable experience.

Start with a welcome glass of vino de terreno followed by local delicacies such as chorizo, salchichon, aubergines with miel de canas, patatas a lo pobre and tortilla followed by soup with choice of main meals and end with fresh fruit and coffee.  Delicious!

Los Cantares

On of our favourite eating places - good choice of home made cooking with very friendly service.

Particularly good are the sopa del mariscos and the patatas al pobre. You must try them!

Casa Cebadillas -A Unique Dining Experience in Torrox Pueblo

Casa Cebadillas offer this unique introduction to Andalucian Cuisine*

On your rest day and exclusively through Walk Andalucía, your hosts, Arthur and Christopher, will explain how each dish is prepared and give you the opportunity to assist in the cooking of the paella. Guests enjoy a traditional Andalucia luncheon served on a private terrace overlooking the countryside, village and sea.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a small number of guests eager to share in the food, wine, and culture of one of Spain's most diverse and vibrant regions of Andalucía.
*(please note - this service is only available from May to October)
